My primary intention is to transcend the limitations of sensory experience. I rely heavily on the medium of photography as it provides the opportunity to examine the relationship between sensory perceptions and the exterior world.

I aspire to impart a sense of dislocation from extant societal values. I focus heavily on the conceptual tenants of transcendentalism, both in terms of the sensory perception of reality and with regards to imploring the human condition to include the pursuit of enlightenment within its definition. My ongoing thought experiments revolve around Platonic maxims, the fragility of the human condition, asceticism, the derivative discourse of gender, biological determinism, rites and rituals, liminal spaces, the postmodern world and cybernetic systems.
